Do you ever think about where or how certain things came to be?
Take socks for example...we put them on and never give it a second thought others then what color to wear.
Did you know socks go back as far as ancient Greek?
Of course back then they were made of animal hair.
The Romans wrapped their feet in leather and woven fabrics until they started sewing the fabric together to make fitted socks.
It's pretty interesting how socks evolved from the early stages to what they are now.
Now socks are not only for practical purposes, but also for fashion.
Lots of great designs to chose from !
